Nehemiah leads our music department from 3rd grade all the way through high school. He graduated from Vanguard University with an emphasis in music education. His main instrument is violin, but he is well versed in most instruments within the string family. He is passionate about worship and loves to teach music to all ages.

Patty Villanueva

Patty Villanueva has been a part of Cornerstone for 14 years. She has been married to Bonifacio for 19 years and they have three children: Andres, Sophie, and Celita.

God brought Patty to Cornerstone first as a parent, and two years later He opened the door for her to teach Spanish. Throughout the years, she feels blessed to have been a part of Student Government and Yearbook.

Mrs. Villanueva's greatest accomplishment and blessing is her family. Her desire is to always seek God and His guidance in all she does and to be a vessel used by Him.

Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this.

Laura Scott lives in Antioch with her husband, two kids; Joy (5) and Jacob (2), and their dog Roxy. She graduated from California State University Hayward with her BA in Liberal Studies and her teaching credential. This is her eleventh year teaching. She has taught a variety of grades from 3rd-7th as well as special ed. She is excited to be teaching high school math and science this year and is looking forward to an amazing school year.

Bonifacio Villanueva

925 . 779 . 2010cBonifacio Villanueva has been a part of Cornerstone for 16 years. He has been married to Patricia for 23 years and they have three children: Andres, Sophie, and Celia.

God brought Bonifacio to Cornerstone first as a parent, and 16 years later God opened the door for him to teach Computer Programming. Bonifacio graduated from San Francisco State University where he earned the following degrees:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

Mr. Villanueva has worked as a software engineer for over 30 years and is an experienced trainer having personally delivered well over 100 Instructor Lead Training (ILT) sessions. Applications personally developed by Mr. Villanueva are currently being used by various state government agencies throughout the United States, including CA Franchise Tax Board, CA Employer Development Department, and Oregon Employment Department. Mr. Villanueva, however, regards his family as his greatest accomplishment and blessing. He accepted Jesus as his personal savior in 2000 and his desire to do God’s will continues to this day.

Chasity Pacheco is thrilled to be a part of the Cornerstone family. Art has been her passion since she was a little girl. Mrs. Pacheco studied Fine Art and Graphic Design at Northwest College of Art and Silicon Valley College.

She loves creating masterpieces with her students, and opening their eyes and minds to the world of Art.

Marisa Keane works as a freelance sign language interpreter and instructor at the local community college. She loves the beautiful language and rich culture of the Deaf community. When she's not teaching your wonderful children :) she enjoys spending time with her family and friends somewhere on the water.
