Mrs. Avila has called Cornerstone home since 2012, first as a parent who loved every opportunity to volunteer. In God’s perfect timing, He opened the door for her to step into teaching—a calling that allows her to do what she truly loves. She now teaches Physical Education and Home Economics and also serves as our ASL proctor.
Outside of school, Mrs. Avila enjoys life with her husband, Mike, their three children—Kailani, Michael, and Jacob—and their pets: two dogs, Maverick and Mia, and a cat named Mickey. She has a passion for inspiring students to honor their bodies through movement and nutrition, while her greatest joy remains being a devoted wife and mother.
