BIBLE – LIFE APPLICATION

I hope that you all enjoyed a blessed Christmas season with your family & are ready to face this wonderful new year. I’d like to let you know what I have planned for the next two weeks in our Life Application class. Starting today, we’re beginning a unit on culture. We’ll be discussing many aspects of culture & how our Christian faith fits into culture & ultimately changes culture. Some of our discussions & writing assignments will deal with American culture & cultures in other countries as well. As usual, we’ll be writing in our prayer journals, memorizing a verse every week, & participating in class activities. Please e-mail me if you have any questions or need more information.

BIBLE – OT SURVEY

Good Morning! I trust that you enjoyed a refreshing break & are looking forward to this new year. In our OT Survey class, we’re going to be studying the life of Job for the next couple weeks. We’ll be concentrating on why a loving God allows human suffering & what lessons we can learn from how Job lived his life. We’ll continue writing in our prayer journals, participating in class activities, & memorizing a Bible verse every week. Please e-mail me if you have any comments or need more information.

BIBLE – NT SURVEY

Welcome back to the school routine! I trust that you experienced a blessed Christmas season with your families. In NT Survey, we’ll be continuing to work our way through the book of Acts during the next two weeks. Paul & Silas & their three missionary journeys will be the focus of our study. As always, we’ll also be writing in our prayer journals, participating in class activities, & memorizing a verse each week. If you need any more information or you have comments or questions, please e-mail me.

BIBLE – UNDERSTANDING THE TIMES

Good Morning! I hope your Christmas was fun & full of love & laughter & that you’re now ready to head into a great new year. During the next couple weeks, we’ll be studying a unit on law in Understanding the Times. I plan to review some of the Old Testament dietary & lifestyle laws. We’ll look at the Judeo-Christian laws upon which our country was founded & we’ll also look at such topics as Sharia law, the laws of Communism, & the situational ethics which secular humanists apply to their view of the law. We’ll be writing in our prayer journals, participating in class activities, & memorizing a verse each week as well. Please feel free to e-mail me if you need more information or you want to comment on anything we discuss in class.
