Sheila Wells has been married to Scott for 44 years, together they have two children and six grandchildren. She attended Patten University where she received her BA in Teaching and her MA in Education.

Mrs. Wells likes to sew, craft, and shoot nature photography when she isn't enjoying teaching and laughing with her wonderful students.

Patty Villanueva has been a part of Cornerstone for 15 years. She has been married to Bonifacio for 21 years and they have
three children: Andres, Sophie, and Celita.

God brought Patty to Cornerstone first as a parent, and two years later He opened the door for her to teach Spanish. Throughout the years, she feels blessed to have been a part of Student Government and Yearbook.

Mrs. Villanueva's greatest accomplishment and blessing is her family. Her desire is to always seek God and His guidance in all she does and to be a vessel used by Him.

Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

BIBLE I – Old Testament Survey

This course is designed to give the student a broad survey of the entire Bible. In our exploration, students will see the clear, applicable and practical truths of the Word in relation to their lives today and how they can have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

BIBLE II – New Testament Survey

This course is designed to give the student a broad survey of the entire Bible with an emphasis on the New Testament. The life and work of Christ, along with God’s plan of salvation is presented here along with the major doctrines of the New Testament – the person and work of the Holy Spirit, the reliability of Scripture, the purpose and work of the Church, what the Bible teaches about angels, demons, and the end times.

 

BIBLE III – Life Application

This course is designed to give the student the ability to apply Scripture in a practical way and develop a Christian world view. Topics include the nature of truth, the nature of mankind, faith expressed through government, science and the arts. Students are required to write numerous essays that express their faith in practical ways.

 

BIBLE IV – Understanding the Times

This course is designed to give the student the ability to apply Scripture in a practical way and develop a Christian world view. Topics include the nature of truth, the nature of mankind, faith expressed through government, science and the arts. Students are required to write numerous essays that express their faith in practical ways.
